Starting from 29th September, the great international exhibition titled See Me Moving Spaceless has been opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) in Skopje. About 40 works of art will be presented which have been created by some of the most prominent artists from Southeast Europe and which comprise a part of the art collection possessed by Deutsche Telekom.

The purpose of this exhibition is to demonstrate the complex relation between politics and art, with a focus on the social developments, the political image and the unique expression that are spurred by the creation of art in this region.

The exhibition comprises works of art by both international and Macedonian artists. The selected artists have witnessed the collective change that occurred in this region, while their works of art constitute a vacuum which has preserved the sentiments and the views in terms of such change. The collection comprises several types of works of art, created in various media: from drawings and photographs, to sizeable digital installations.

"This exhibition will provide, for the first time ever, an opportunity for the Macedonian public to see the precious art collection of Deutsche Telekom which has existed since 2010 and which is focused on the contemporary art of East and Southeast Europe. The roots of the art collection of Deutsche Telekom stem from 2010 and ever since then the collection has been continuously enhanced and enriched with new works of art and artists. The intention of Deutsche Telekom is to create a collection of contemporary works of art by artists from East and Southeast Europe, which depict the social and political circumstances under which these artists have been working, as well as the social changes reflected through art over the past thirty-odd years. During the enhancement and expansion of the collection, great attention is paid to the high potential for stories and narratives that could arise from the works of art. Thus, the collection constitutes an ideal basis for discussions and exchange of ideas between people who live in the same world, but view it from a different angle.

The exhibition See Me Moving Spaceless at the MoCA will be open for visitors from 29.9.2021 and it will last until 21.11.2021.
