30.05.2008 - Announcement of the modification of the Reference Offer for Interconnection of Makedonski Telekom – AD Skopje (MATERIO)
On 11.02.2008, Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje submitted a modified version of MATERIO to the Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications which contains the requested modifications with a Decision No. 02-4/1 dated 08.01.2008 and the additionally included modifications proposed upon the company’s own initiative. The Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications on 11.03.2008 adopted a Decision number 02-4/4 whereby it has been established that the modification of the Reference Offer for Interconnection has been made in accordance with the Decision No. 02-4/1 dated 08.01.2008. Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje on 01.04.2008 filed a complaint number 08-97318/2 pertaining to the Decision number 02-4/4. In view of the fact that even upon the expiry of sixty (60) days as of the day of the complaint submission, the Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications did not make any decision on approval/rejection of the submitted modified version of MATERIO, Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje, even before the completion of the administrative procedure and in accordance with the Decision of the Agency for Electronic Communications dated 08.01.2008, announces:

On 26.05.2008, the Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEK) submitted an Approval No. 02 – 102/3 dated 23.05.2008, whereby the modification of the MATERIO is approved. The modification of the MATERIO is in accordance with the final audit report of the authorised auditor, Company for audit and consulting TRIO-CONSULTING, whose selection has been approved by the Agency for Electronic Communications, with reference to the conducted audit of the LRIC cost model for calculation of the prices for interconnection. The audit of the LRIC cost model has been conducted in accordance with Article 48 of the Law on Electronic Communications which stipulates that the authorised auditor should confirm the accuracy of the cost accounting system. Pursuant to the Decision dated 23.05.2008, Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje announces:

On 27.05.2008, the Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEK) submitted an Approval No. 02-4/7 dated 26.05.2008, whereby the modifications of the MATERIO initiated by Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje are approved. The said modifications enable the interconnection partners of Makedonski Telekom AD - Skopje to originate local calls with the carrier selection service. Pursuant to the Decision dated 26.05.2008, Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje announces:

24.12.2007 – Announcement of amendments to the Reference Interconnection Offer of Makedonski Telekom AD (MATERIO)

On 17.12.2007, the Electronic Communications Agency (AEK) submitted the Decision no. 02 – 14/4 dated 14.12.2007, approving amendments to the MATERIO, in accordance with the Decision of AEK no. 02-14/1 dated 24.07.2007 and in accordance with the request for amendments to the MATERIO, initiated by Makedonski Telekom AD.
Although the Decision stated above is not final and executable, Makedonski Telekom AD, on its own initiative, proceeds with making amendments to the MATERIO, by issuing the amendments to the MATERIO as version 1.4 with the following content:

• Amended Annex 2.A (Regional and Basic Zones of Makedonski Telekom);

16.07.2007 – Announcement of amendments to the Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO)

On 09.07.2007, Makedonski Telekom AD received a Decision of the Committee as the body of the Electronic Communications Agency no. 11-60/1 dated 28.06.2007 in relation with its Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO). Pursuant to Article 45 paragraph 4 of the Law on Electronic Communications, Makedonski Telekom AD issues the following:

10.05.2007 – Announcement of amendments to the Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO)

On 09.07.2007, Makedonski Telekom AD received a Decision of the Committee as a body of the Electronic Communications Agency no. 11-26/3 dated 02.05.2007 in relation with its Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO). Pursuant to Article 45 paragraph 4 of the Law on Electronic Communications, Makedonski Telekom AD issues the following:

• Amended Annex 8.B (Fees), version 1.2.

20.12.2006 – Announcement of amendments to the Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO)

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Director of the Electronic Communications Agency, Makedonski Telekom AD issues the amendment to the Reference Interconnection Offer (MATERIO). The subject of the amendment are two items from Annex 8.A (Charging Fees) whereby the provision is terminated in accordance with which Makedonski Telekom AD was charging Use Tariffs 50 (fifty) % higher than the Tariffs for Use of Call Termination Tariffs for calls originating from the Mobile Radio Telephone Network and terminating in the network of Makedonski Telekom AD. With this amendment, the Tariffs for Use of Call Termination Tariffs paid by the mobile operators shall decrease by 33% in the future and these tariffs shall apply as of 01.02.2007 in accordance with the provisions of the Main Body of the MATERIO. The amendment in the second item applies to a correction of a misprint.

communication operator with significant market power on the market of fixed voice telephone networks and services and as a subject which owns an electronic communication network required for providing these services – offers, in accordance with the Law on Electronic Communications (Official Gazette no. 12/2005), the scope of services specified in the Law and the relevant bylaw, the possibility for other alternative public network operators to interconnect their public communication networks in accordance with the scope and framework of the Reference Interconnection Offer (RIO) after the approval thereof by the Electronic Communications Agency.
The Reference Interconnection Offer of Makedonski Telekom AD (MATERIO) includes the technical and legal conditions with the fulfilment of which the interconnection can be made between the operator requesting the interconnection and Makedonski Telekom AD.
In this manner, through the interconnection of public electronic communication networks, it becomes possible for Makedonski Telekom AD and its interconnection partners to interconnect within the voice scope with the use of subscriber telephone services.
